A former WyCo man is facing federal child pornography charges
As reported by the Wyoming County Press’s news partner 13WHAM, a former Wyoming County man is facing federal child pornography charges.
According to U.S. District Attorney William J. Hochul Jr., Calvin Patrick, 34, of Mt. Morris, is charged with attempted production of child pornography, enticement of a minor, and receipt and possession of child pornography.
Patrick has already been accused of holding a woman prisoner and using her as a sex slave.
According to prosecutors, a witness saw content depicting young women engaging in sexual contact on the suspect's tablet. The same witness is also said to have seen an image on the suspect's Kik account of a nude 14-year-old from Florida.
The witness also said, according to investigators, that Patrick had been communicating with an 11-year-old from Pennsylvania. In addition, Patrick is accused of making comments about picking up the child and keeping her locked up.
After executing a search warrant, investigators said they found Patrick had been using Kik to communicate with two out-of-state minors.
Patrick faces up to life in prison and a $250,000 fine if convicted. He is also facing unrelated charges in Livingston County.
