Perry resident charged with raping a teen

Perry resident Lance A. Riley was arrested for raping a 15-year-old female.

On July 12, the New York State Police out of Warsaw arrested the 38-year-old on charges of: rape in the third degree and criminal sexual act in the third degree, both are Class E felonies; and endangering the welfare of a child, a Class A misdemeanor.

Troopers say since March, Riley subjected the teen to sexual intercourse and sexual acts multiple times at his home on Borden Avenue in the Village of Perry.

He was arraigned in Village of Perry Court and put in Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $100,000.

He is due in court at a later date.

Assisting State Police in the investigation included the Perry Police Department and the NYSDOCSS, Office of Special Investigations – Sex Offense Squad.
