Wine and Brews in the Valley set for Sept. 16
Not only will patrons have an opportunity to stroll down Warsaw’s main and side streets checking out the local businesses, there will be plenty of stops along the way to sample local wine, ale and food.
There are only 750 wine tasting and 500 beer tasting tickets available for this year’s 4th annual Wine & Brews in the Valley, happening from 4 to 8 p.m. Sept. 16 in the Village. Check-in is between 3 and 5:15 p.m. Tickets for either wine tasting or beer tasting – tasters cannot do both – are $25 presale or $30 at the event, designated drivers get in free.
New this year, in addition to the check-in at the Warsaw Moose Club on Main Street, is the Fairview Paper Box Corporation check-in at 200 Allen St., Warsaw. When participants arrive they will have their ID checked, be given a wrist band, a special commemorative tasting glass and event program.
The tasters program includes a map to the more than 20 wine tastings, 10 beer tastings, and treat sites along the route. Additionally, there will be seven different food vendors and several different musical acts performing throughout the Village.

The Wine & Brews in the Valley event is sponsored by the United Way of Wyoming County. The organization supports local agencies in the county, some of which include ARC of Livingston/Wyoming counties, Boy Scouts of America - Iroquois Trail, Girl Scouts of Western New York, Home Care and Hospice, Mental Health Association of Rochester, Project Read of Wyoming County, Warsaw food pantry, Wyoming County Business Education Council, Wyoming County Community Action, YMCA Wyoming County Branch.
